Binghamton Bound

We are on our way to Binghamton soon! I've been a bit swamped which is why I haven't posted. The pictures above are of Demani's newest fun thing to do, which is empty the box of toys. He pulls the box toward him to tip it and pulls toys out of it. He proceeded to pull all of the toys out and then dismantle the box! I was impressed! He played this way for awhile and then I nursed him and he fell asleep. I realized that his diaper needed changed at that point so I laid him down to change him and he slept through the diaper change! He really had played hard!

Ready for fun in the sun.

It's been pretty toasty here the last few days! Demani went swimming for the first time yesterday and he really enjoyed it! I wasn't sure what to expect from him but he seemed to like it, though he did prefer mom's arms to the special floatie thing I got for him.

We had the blessing to see our friends who are home from Japan this past weekend. The Sortman's are such a beautiful family and we had a blast visiting with them. We lived next to them in the apartments when we first got married, 7 years ago!

Demani is clapping, almost crawling, and just generally being cute these days. He will be crawling before we know it! He is so good for me right now in this time of change, it will be fun to experience NY with him, and he will make me smile in those moments of sadness. The move to NY will happen by the end of the month. Moving is such an emotional and physical journey! Whew, we are wiped out! Here are some more pictures...
