Hi all! Sorry I haven't posted recently. I will get pics up on here asap. The pics will be of everyday stuff and of our trip to NC, where we had a fabulous time visiting my sister, Kendra and her hubby Scott. The trip there and back when amazingly well. Mathwon and I listened to a book on the way there (it's an 11 hour drive - for us add about 3 hours) and discussed it. It felt good to use my brain in that way again! The kids did just unbelievably well. They did well sleeping at S&K's house - which was a big relief. We went to a few kids museums, to a nice mall with a kids play area, we stayed home and did nothing, we played Skip Bo with S&K after the kids went to bed, we ate way too well, and most importantly we laughed a lot and relaxed. It was such a joy for us to see S&K with the kids...won't be long you two!
The babies had a dr appt this week and we had a good checkup. Seren is 26 1/4 inches long and weighs 15 lbs 12oz. Mekai is 27 3/4 inches long and weighs 16 lbs 10 oz. They are sticking to the 1 lb difference between the two of them! They've been a pound apart since we started tracking in the womb! The are working on crawling and sitting up - they are eating like crazy too... Seren is the independent one, is easy going, loves to laugh, likes to take toys from Mekai.... Mekai is a cuddler, likes to be held, loves his jumperoo, and swats at Seren when they are on the floor together. She will just start crying and I'll say Mekai what did you do? and he will just look at me, like yup, I made her cry again! The other day I heard Mekai hollering and peeked in the living room and Seren was tugging at the teething ring he had and wasn't giving up.... Add Demani to the mix and they provide a lot of laughs. They are all really enjoying each other - the three of them laughing and rolling on the floor together is the most wonderful feeling in the world.
Demani is so smart and he watches our every move...scary... He is a great nurturer to his puppy - no stuffed animal has it better! Everything we do with the babies he does with puppy - who knew we were buying diapers for puppy too?!! he is a big help with the twins and has taken to "helping" me feed the babies....it's just precious how he talks to them and dribbles yogurt all over the floor on his way to their mouths.... :)
We are excited for spring to arrive for good. I will post some pics soon! Now that I have written a bit maybe I'll get to the pics sooner rather than later.
This is what happens when you are sleep deprived....and trying to do too many things at once. I was watching American Idol while I put the babies jammies on and when I was half way done putting Seren's jammies on I realized that I had put Mekai's jammies on her...oh well...the swapped for the night! If you blow up the picture of the toy truck you will notice a pacifier stuck on the front of it. Mathwon and I searched the ENTIRE house for that pacifier....this is where I found it the next morning...I am pretty sure Mekai tossed it there from his jumperoo!
We went out to eat for my birthday. Demani was a little gentleman and boy did he ever enjoy his spaghetti!

The Binghamton Bearcats went to the NCAA Tournament! Mathwon and Demani went to the Championship game that was here at BU.
Demani enjoys "helping" to feed the babies...I only let him feed Mekai because Seren's arms are like little windmills... The pic of Mekai is what happens when big brother feeds little brother...
The rest are from vacation to Charlotte, NC! We had a blast! Below are pics of Mathwon and Demani walking a tightrope at one of the museums we went to.
