Demani - version 17.0 months

Well, little man is 17 months already!

Demani - version 17.0 months:

  • Says no, even to things he likes or really does want
  • Sleeps an average of 11 hours a night, cuddled with his puppy, in his crib, in his room (Praise the Lord!)
  • Says baby and enjoys exposing and patting mommy's ever enlarging belly
  • Says kitty and amuses self by chasing kitty through the house
  • Says momma and dada
  • Will bring a book to me or dad to read
  • Yesterday he told me (without words) that he wanted to dance to the Doodlebops
  • Eats chicken, organic nitrate free hot dogs, rice, ravioli, zucchini, carrots, grilled cheese, and tons of fruit
  • Thinks its a blast to feed himself yogurt or rice with a spoon
  • Climbs everything imaginable (including on top of the dining room table, gulp)
  • If we are getting ready to leave he will go to the closet and reach for his coat
  • When I say bath time he goes to the door of the bathroom and pounds on the door
  • Enjoys knocking on doors
  • Enjoys pushing the garage door button to put it up and down
I just recently turned version 30.0 and enjoyed a party put together by my loving husband. It was a wonderful surprise and a fabulous birthday. In spite of the rough terrain that arises under your feet as a result of moving, thirty's looking pretty good, I must say. The adventure continues!! Part of the 'adventure' is not always knowing whats around the bend and not knowing exactly where the path is taking you. You would think I have this lesson learned by now, but apparently this is not the case!!

The twins are doing well! One is a boy and one is a girl (if I haven't mentioned that before). We will be having dr appts I think every week from here on out. It's a blast to see them on the ultrasound kicking each other and moving all over the place. We got to see baby girl take a big gulp of amniotic fluid. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! If I get the chance to figure it out, I will try to scan some ultrasound pics and post them.

Unfortunately, I can't find the camera cord to transfer pics in order to post...I will keep looking.
