Time flies...

Seems like I just posted... :)



Today while I got the kids dressed Demani came into the room and noticed that he and Mekai matched. They each had on a gray shirt and blue mesh shorts. Demani's shirt had Duke on it and Mekai's said Little Guy. Now we talk about Duke a lot around here because that is where Daddy works. Demani told Mathwon the other day that he was going to work with him but that he would have his own car! So Demani asked me what Mekai's shirt said and I said, "it says Little Guy. Do you know what your shirt says?" He said, "Big guy!" Though I thought he might know his shirt said Duke I enjoyed his answer! He's always good for a laugh.

I love how he laughs with me at things. He gets things...like he's a little adult or something. Like last night in the play room Mekai was picking up his snack that he had dumped on the floor and he had worked intently to pick up all the goldfish and raisins. Then when he bent over to pick up the last raisin the contents of his bowl spilled out again! Demani and I just started laughing - i mean laughing hard! He thought it was cute and funny too ;) In other news, he sat and went on the big, big boy potty last night! I was so proud - seriously you would have thought he had just won the Nobel Peace Prize.
