How is this possible?

When I was pregnant with Demani I would fight the whole "baby brain" phenomenon but this time I am just embracing it. Recently there was an article about this in the news. It's nothing new to us who have carried babies... The story below is proof....

This weekend mom, Demani and I had fun going shopping and just hanging out. We have a few bulbs out on the chandelier in the dining area and so I took a bulb with me to Target to be sure to get the right one. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to make sure I had the right wattage and bulb. I had a hard time finding 60 watt bulbs, it seemed there were a lot of 40 watts. I finally found a selection of 60 watts and a package of bulbs that matched the shape of the light bulb I held in my hand. Later that evening I unscrewed the blown light bulbs and tried to screw in the new ones. Mom was in the kitchen and I couldn't get the bulb to screw in and I exclaimed, "How is this possible?!" Mom asked what was wrong and I told her the new bulbs didn't fit! And I was astounded. Then all of a sudden, mom exploded into uncontrollable laughter and I was like what? She pointed out the bulbs I held in my hand, a new one and one of the blown bulbs and the bases were not the same diameter - not even close. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, I was laughing so hard that I was crying! Mom said and you took a bulb with you to make sure you got the right one! I told her I guess I should have had her help me with the light bulb selection. So this was all possible because of baby brain. Let's just call it like we see it.
All because of baby brain...x2

I scored a great shot during bath time tonight.

Oh, Bethany... too funny! Especially since you had the lightbulb with you!

Ok, I've already changed my desktop picture again - I put the picture of him in the bathtub up.

I LOVE the picture of him and mom laughing!!! Ahhhhh, just melts my heart. I keep smiling thinking about him running under the parachute, out of the circle, and towards mom (she told me the story). What a precious little guy...

Miss you!
