Monday at the Howard's

Today we had a dr appt. for mom and the twins. All is well. We got to meet the dr who will be involved in our care because of the twins. We are 21 weeks along and when the dr measured me I am measuring at 28 weeks!!! Amazing. I am feeling a lot of movement, especially at night. I get tired often during the day. The dr also informed me I need 80 grams of protein and 1800 grams of calcium! So I am going to pick up some protein bars and some calcium chews tomorrow to help me make sure I am meeting those guidelines. He also helped us understand a bit more about having twins, it doesn't mean bed rest, guaranteed C-section, or that we will need to do a whole lot differently this time around. It was reassuring to know that these things are possible but not something we have to plan on. We are trusting God for the timing on all this with moving in June and twins on the way. It's all completely out of our control - we have to remind ourselves of that every now and then.

I am tired so this will be brief :) We had a good afternoon and a fun evening full of laughs and hugs. The best kind of evening! Mathwon and Demani had a "sword" fight with baby hangers. I caught some of it on video. Just the cutest! Mathwon told me that when he got to work this morning and dug into his work bag to start his day he found a swim diaper and a ball, compliments of Demani. Such a sweet boy :) He is working on a couple more teeth and is faring quite well besides a few grumpy moments.

Off to bed for me. Have a happy Tuesday!

That must've been helpful - to hear those things from the dr. Glad you were able to have that talk. Love you guys!
