"The Store"

Demani seems to be taking after his mom with his fondness for going to the store. Sometimes it's our thing to do together. He's a big fan of Target (like his mom). In fact one day we were playing with sidewalk chalk in the driveway and I was asking him what he wanted me to draw for him and he said, "Target." So, since I am not an artist, I drew a simple square with the word Target above it and the bullseye symbol. Thankfully, he was satisfied with this. Mathwon got a kick out of it when he came home from work and sees pictures on the driveway of a car, a flower, and a circle and ....Target?

Demani is busy putting everything together in his head, he's realizing that most things come from a store. This morning he was holding a golf ball he asked if I got it from the store. Then he picked up a tee and asked if it came from the store. It's been his favorite question this week. So I should not have been surprised when yesterday he asked, "You get the babies at the store?"
