7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
We've been asking, seeking, and knocking and God has been giving, revealing, and opening. In fact, we are blown away by God's provision for our family. He truly gives us the desires of our hearts. We've been standing back and watching God move and it is amazing.
We jumped on a roller coaster when we moved to Bingo - it took us a year to sell our house and about a year to get over moving from MI. Our first year here was rough, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In the midst of trying to make sense of our life here in Bingo we found out that we were expecting and later that we were having twins. Then our house finally sold. Then our family went from 3 to 5 in a matter of 22 minutes on June 12. That will throw you for a loop! We've endured a lot of life changes throughout this step of faith from Ypsilanti to Bingo...and the best part of it? God has been faithful. He has given us what we needed. He has grown us individually, as a couple, and as a family. We are not the same people who moved to Bingo 2 years ago. God has done a work in us and we aim to be transformed daily into the people He wants us to be. We can now see why God brought us here to Bingo - it is clear to us. And we are so thankful that God brought us to Bingo to teach us about Him, about us, and about who we are in Him.
And now He's decided to take us out of Bingo. Yes, you've read correctly! We are moving to the sunny :) state of North Carolina. We missed the sun and we've missed our families while here in Bingo and God has given more than we could have dreamed of. We are going to get more sun and more family as my sister Kendra and her husband Scott (and baby girl - due to arrive in a few days!) live in Charlotte a mere 2 1/2 hours from where we will be. Sweet! My mom recently accepted a job in Charlotte...yes can you believe it!!! So mom and dad will soon be in NC! Mathwon's dad has been looking at NC for a few years as a place he'd like to relocate to. He's considering it even more now! Wow! God is good! God provided Mathwon with a job that is a great fit in many ways. He will be working for Duke University. So we are so thankful...God knows our every need and longs for us to ask, seek, and knock - to communicate with Him about what is on our hearts and minds. He can handle our requests. See the grandest thing we can come up with is no match for what God can come up with! He goes above and beyond! Our hearts are full of gratitude and praise not just because of NC but because of all these reasons below...
