Hello from NC!

We made it to NC safe and sound fueled on Chick-Fil-A, sweet tea and a Sesame Street CD that has songs that are sung in several different languages, not exactly singable but the kids love it! The kids have adjusted WONDERFULLY, especially given the fact that we are operating with the stuff that can fit in two carloads (not much!). I am sitting in a collapsible lawn chair as I type this - not the most comfortable seat ever - but the cup holder is super handy! My cup holder is housing a bottle of water and as I glance at Mathwon's chair his cup holder holds - remotes - what else? :) We have explored our new area a bit and have found some of the important places, Walmart, the Mall, Babies R Us, and Harris Teeter (the grocery store). Does that name crack anyone else up? :) We have enjoyed catching up on sleep since we were kind of going nonstop for awhile there and tomorrow the truck comes so its a good thing we could catch up. Please keep us in your prayers as we adjust to the new area and try to set up house with three little ones.... :) Also, just like our stay in Binghamton taught us much there is much to learn during our time here, pray that we might learn what we should learn and be open to what God has for us!

I shed tears leaving Bingo. When I came home to an empty house I lost it. There's just something sad about an empty house when you are leaving it. It's all of a sudden so real...we're moving, really moving. We met some of the most kind-hearted and thoughtful people in Bingo and though it was hard to leave you we can't wait for you all to visit us in NC!

And of the utmost importance....(sorry for the delay)... Baby Elle was born! I am an auntie!

Full name: Elle Leighton Miller
Weight: 7lb. 14 oz.
Length: 21 inches
Born at 8:13 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2009

I will get to hold her very soon and I can hardly wait! Mom and Dad Miller are doing wonderfully as well! I'll post a picture when I can!

Yesterday Demani said, "I'm not crazy. I'm not silly. I'm happy!"

That about sums it up.

Bethany, I'm so happy to hear that you've made it and are settling in! Bingo is not the same without knowing there's a "next time soon" when I can spend time with your family! Just means we'll have to visit you in NC.

Keep the updates coming!
Warmly,
Laura
